According to their manufacturing processes, steel fibers are divided into four main categories:

第三类是熔抽钢纤维，是以不锈钢锭为原料，用电炉将钢锭熔融成1500-1600摄氏度的钢液，然后在钢液表面用一个高速旋转的熔抽轮接近钢液，熔抽轮上按照所需要的尺寸，刻出许多凹槽。当熔抽轮下降到钢液表面时，钢液被凹槽吸出，被离心力抛出，以极快的速度冷却成型，制成不同材质、不同尺寸的钢纤维。
